Everyone is invited to our 18th annual Las Posadas event at the Andres Pico Adobe in Mission Hills. “Las Posadas” is the re-enactment of the Nativity story of Mary and Joseph traveling from door to door in Bethlehem looking for a place for Mary to give birth to Baby Jesus.
It has been a tradition in Mexico for over 400 years. “Posadas” refers to lodging. After the
procession, there will be refreshments and caroling lead by local nuns in the courtyard. We hope to have a visit from Santa, too! If you have never participated in this event, join us. Bring your children. All are invited!
Come enjoy music, hot chocolate and of course, a piñata! Join us at the Adobe for this
touching and traditional Christmastime event!
