Join us this Thursday, May 25th 2017 at 7:00 p.m. as Greg Gonzalez and Daniel Zafran present: Bizarre San Fernando Valley, Oddities, Folklore and More. L.A Meekly is a free monthly podcast that explores Los Angeles' lesser known history and legends. Greg and Daniel are Los Angeles natives who visit local museums, landmarks and historic sites throughout Los Angeles County to research the city's often forgotten and lesser known history. The duo recently appeared at the Hudson Theatre at the Comedy Central Stage in February. The pair has covered stories on a wide range of topics including the history of corruption in the cities of Bell and Vernon, the history of oranges in Los Angeles, the Prohibition Era, and the St. Francis Dam, to name a few. L.A. Meekly was named one of the 11 podcasts about L.A. that you should listen to by Los Angeles Magazine this January.
