Docent Program The San Fernando Valley Historical Society welcomes volunteers to serve as tour guides through the Adobe. You will learn historical facts about the Chumash, Spanish/Mexican and pioneer eras, the Adobe, its inhabitants and its collections.

In addition to leading tours, meet new friends and take special trips with the docents, help with elementary school programs or work on special projects in the museum office.

No experience is necessary to be a docent, just enthusiasm and a fun attitude. Membership in the San Fernando Valley Historical Society is not required (although encouraged).
